At Zipperle we have a storage capacity that remains unmatched in South Tyrol and quite rare throughout the rest of Europe.
The size of our storage facilities is quite impressive: on about 20,000 meters squared 1,038 tanks with capacities from 12,000 to up to 860,000 liters make for a spectacular view. More than 65 million liters of juices, concentrates and fruit purees are stored safely here. Some of the tanks contain juice and purees which are stored sterilely and under monitored temperature. Others contain concentrates and flavours which are stored constantly at 4 degrees celsius.
In detail, we can store 53.5 mio liters at ambient or cooled temperatures of 11 degrees for juices and purees and 11.5 mio liters at 4 degrees celsius for concentrates and flavours. For loading and shipment, the sterilely stored products are cooled down to 0 °C and prepared in insulated blending tanks. Under our quality assurance’s strict control, the sensitive products await their just-in-time delivery in sterile drums, tank lorries or containers.
The very extensive but flexible product preparation and blending, allows us to process our customers’ requests as quickly as possible. It will take us a maximum of 72 hours from your order to loading!
